Steam the peas
Heat the sunflower oil in a large pot, add frozen green peas, stir and steam for 10 minutes.

Make the thickener
Blend down 1/3 of the peas, the corn strach, the milk and half of the parsley. In the meantime add about one cup boiling water to the steaming pot

Add the thickener and spices
Mix in the thickener, add the salt, pepper, sugar and rest of the parsley, boil for 5 minutes while stirring. Optionally add more milk or hot water to get a lighter consistency.

Add the sour cream
Finally stir in the sour cream and remove from the heat.
